Keyboard shortcuts
All Doska keyboard shortcuts in one place: board tools, editing, alignment, view and zoom, the diagram code panel and documents.
This page lists every keyboard shortcut in Doska, grouped by where you use it. On a board, press ? to see the most common ones in a dialog, or open the board menu (☰) and choose Keyboard shortcuts.
⌘/Ctrl means ⌘ (Command) on a Mac and Ctrl on Windows and Linux. Alt is the Option (⌥) key on a Mac. Board shortcuts do not fire while you are typing in a text field, a label or the code editor.

Esc steps back one level at a time: it cancels the current drawing, closes an open comment, clears the selection, switches back to Select, and finally closes the code panel.

Pasting with ⌘/Ctrl+V depends on what is in the clipboard: objects copied from a board are pasted as objects (also into another board), Mermaid flowchart code becomes a diagram, plain text becomes a text block, and images or files are uploaded to the board.

Undo on the canvas after Apply, or after a change on the canvas that rewrote the code, reverts the board and the code in one step. See Diagrams as code.
